Born and raised in Oregon, I moved to China after college, met and married and raised three boys. I spent 20 years living in Asia, where I discovered gem and jade markets, took jewelry classes, studied gemology, and began making jewelry as a hobby.

Initially selling my creations to raise money for charity and teaching classes on rocks and minerals, my passion became my profession. I have always had a lifelong love of all things rocks and focus my work primarily on gemstones. I continues to travel, picking up gemstones wherever I go. Working together with family, I am able to do what I love with the people I love.
